Special Projects at Cape Cod
Hospital
During the Campaign’s leadership gift phase local philanthropists, Frank and Maureen Wilkens, demonstrated their support of CCHC by making a transformational gift towards the development of additional outpatient facilities in the Mid-Cape. To honor this outstanding generosity, the new state-of-the-art medical community will be named the Wilkens Medical Complex.
Over the years, plans for the site on Attucks Lane in Hyannis (formerly known as Hadaway Road) have dramatically evolved. Yet, CCHC’s vision to build an outpatient medical campus has remained consistent. Today, the site plan for the Wilkens Medical Complex includes the potential for six buildings of varying sizes, each providing a wide range of specialty services and programs.
Scheduled to break ground in early summer 2010, the first phase of construction at the Wilkens Medical Complex includes the development of a 20,000 square foot building housing women’s imaging services and medical office space.
