The Visiting Nurse
Association works with Cape Cod Hospital,
Falmouth Hospital and other Cape Cod
Healthcare partners to deliver a continuum
of care, from hospital to home and
into the community. Compassion and
warmth are hallmarks of VNA professionals,
who have helped Cape Codders and their
families through difficult times of
illness and recovery. VNA services
enable many individuals to remain
in their homes while still receiving
needed care.
The VNA makes over
1,600 home visits daily, offering
patient care such as wound treatment,
IV therapy, rehabilitation services,
hospice and palliative care, personal
care services, and emotional support.
Additionally, it provides services
designed to improve the health and
wellness of Cape communities, including
health screenings, immunizations and
education programs.
To ensure that the VNA of Cape Cod can always carry out its essential work, three Special Purpose Funds have been created, as well as an overarching Endowment Fund. These initiatives will ensure that the needs of our children, our seniors, and all members of our community will continue to receive high quality, compassionate care delivered by highly trained nurses using the latest technolgy available.
You can partner
with Cape Cod Healthcare in our mission
to provide quality health care, close
to home, by designating your gift
to the Visiting Nurse Association.
